VHS

Have you got a pile of old VHS Tapes cluttering up your space? Tapes won't last forever so maybe you should get them transferred to DVD while you can! VHS tapes are the most common form of video tape. They are large and are the tapes that you used to record TV programs and transfer your holiday films onto.

Betamax

Betamax lost out in its battle with VHS to become the dominant format in the home. They come in various lengths ranging from 30 to 195 minutes. We still have facilities to transfer Betamax tapes to DVD. Betamax tapes don't seem to last as long as VHS tapes so you need to get them transferred as soon as possible. We can transfer your Betamax tapes to DVD or even to computer files for you to edit yourself. 

Video 8, 8mm & Hi 8

Video 8, sometimes known as 8mm, tapes were used in camcorders. They come in three versions - Video 8, Hi 8 and Digital 8. The outward appearance is the same on each type. They come in 30, 60, 90 and 120 minute lengths. We can transfer your old Video 8 tapes as well as Hi8 and Digital 8 tapes to DVD or even to computer files for you to edit yourself.

VHS-C

VHS-C tapes were used in camcorders and needed an adapter to view the tapes in a standard video recorder. They are considerably smaller than a standard VHS tape. They were also available as Super VHS-C tapes, which is a higher quality version. They come in 30 and 45 minute lengths but may have been recorded in LP mode which doubles the time on a tape. We can transfer your both VHS-C and SVHS-C tapes to DVD or even to computer files for you to edit yourself.

MiniDV

MiniDV tapes were used in modern camcorders. They come in 60 and 85 minute lengths but can be recorded in LP mode which adds about 50% more time. We can transfer your MiniDV tapes to DVD or even to computer files for you to edit yourself. Tapes won't last forever so maybe you should get them transferred to DVD while you can!
